Todd Piper is the owner of Tidal Wave Construction. Originally from Yorktown, Va, Todd was drawn to the coast with his love for surfing, and attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington where he graduated in 2006. Always being involved with construction, Todd has worked on many large construction projects and became interested in bringing new building techniques to master any size project both commercial and residential. So he earned his General Contractors license and Home Inspection license and founded Tidal Wave Construction in 2004.

The accomplishments have been many and with a great deal of planning and imagination. We really can handle any size project large or small with the same dedication and passion for each. Here are a few examples of our work.
Imagine: A modern home designed to emulate the look of a ship docking was built with translucent lighting on top of the home representing the sails of the ship.
Create: A porch was constructed on a home with limited access in the Landfall community with massive skylights so large steel beams construction was used to support the roof. The addition of a 6 foot fireplace made this area one to be enjoyed year round.
Construct: A massive pergola was constructed in a newly landscaped back yard with a built-in gourmet kitchen and a cascading waterfall.
